Ⅰ．Brief introduction
Sanjiang Science and Technology Industrial Area is situated in the west of Sanjiang broadway, Dinghai District, Zhoushan city and faces the Sanjiangkou in the north. It is 12 kilometers away from the city seat, Dinghai. It is the nearest place from Zhoushan island to Daishan, Shengsi and Jishan,Shanghai. The land and sea communication are fast and convenient, the ground is vast and smooth, the soft and hard enviroment are good. It is suitable to build large scale science and technology industrial projects. A batch of enterprises have been settled in the area.
Ⅱ． Planning of the industrial area
Sanjiang Science and Technology Industrial Area will plan 800 mu of land, the central position of the area is seated to the north of Sanjiangkou,215 mu will be developed in the initial stage. In the second stage, the area along the Sanjiang broadway will connect with Ma'ao Industrial Area A and form shoestring industrial area of south linking with north. The planning of central region of the area was drawn up by Zhejiang University Urban planning Design Institute, the planning of south of area was drawn up by Zhoushan planning and Architectural Design Institute. It is asked that the rate of green must reach to 30%, the rate of volume is about 0.5 and work hard to
construct Sanjiang Science and Technology Industrial Area as green industrial area.
 Ⅲ． Natural condition
Ma'ao Town has a land area of 25 square kilometers, 15,041 mu of cultivated land, 11,682 mu of forestry. it is surrounded by mountains on its three sides with the other side opening to the sea. Enjoying a pleasant subtropical monsoon marine climate, it is warm in Winter and cool in Summer. The weather is mild and humid, with plenty of sunshine, sunshine year around averages 930 hours. The annual average temperature is 16.3℃ and rainfall is 1286mm. The hottest month is August, with an average temperature of 27℃. The coldest month is January , with an average temperature of 5.3℃.
Ⅳ. Necessary facilities
The main way of Sanjiang Science and Technology Industrial Area relays on Dinghai-Ma'ao Highway of Provincial way. The water supply, energy, drainage and communication have been set up in the area to implement such systems as "unified program, unified development, unified construction, unified management". Meanwhile, taking "develop the project by construction of standard factory building , build the area by development of the project, expand rapidly by construction of area "as construction principles. Raising funds in a thousand and one way and infrastructure of the area is being perfected.
Ⅴ．Communication
Sanjiang Science and Technology Industrial Area is situated in the northeast of Zhoushan Archipelago, Dinghai-Ma'ao Highway to its northsouth, round-the-island Highway across the area to its westneast. It is only 12 kilometers to Dinghai, the center of politics, economy and culture in Zhoushan through Dinghai-Ma'ao Highway, which is linked with 329 State Highway, Chinese famous Shenjiamen Fishing Port and Putuoshan Airport to its east, entering into the whole country's highway network through Yadanshan to Baifeng, Ningbo to its west. Sanjiang Wharf, which offers regular passenger boats and fast boats to Daishan, Shengsi and have direct ferry to Jinshan through West Dock. Therefore, land,sea and air communication are fast and convenient.
Ⅵ．Industrial guide
The construction goal of Sanjiang Science and Technology Industrial Area become the science and technology base of Dinghai district, important industrial area of Zhoushan. So, enterprises enter into the area, where chiefly developing in the machinery and electron, food processing, marine and biochemistry building material, light industry and textiles, etc. At present, there are one new product of the state level and three new products of the province level in the area.
Zhejiang Sensen Industry Co.,Ltd, Zhoushan Yujing Cement products Co., Ltd, Zhoushan Nagoya Biohemical Products Co., Ltd, Zhoushan Haiguang Foods Co., Ltd, Zhoushan Yanzhong food and beverage Co., Ltd, etc. have settled in the area.

The production enterprises are settled in the Area, the enterprise services centers was established by Ma'ao town government will supply the whole course of services such as industrial and commercial registration, registration for taxation, open bank account, project for approval in free and also provide a series of policies, regulations and information, etc. The enterprises can enjoy various preferential treatments.
