杭州湾跨海大桥全长36公里，其中桥长35.7公里，双向六车道高速公路，设计时速100km。总投资约107亿元，设计使用寿命100年以上。大桥设北、南两个通航孔。北通航孔桥为主跨448m的双塔双索面钢箱梁斜拉桥，通航标准35000吨；南通航孔桥为单塔单索面钢箱粱斜拉桥，通航标准3000吨。大桥两岸连接线工程总长84.4公里，投资52.1亿元。其中北连接线29.1公里，投资额17.8亿元；南岸接线55.3公里，投资额34.3亿元。大桥和两岸连接线总投资约160亿元。建设工期五年左右。杭州湾跨海大桥，可圈可点的是“两跨”、”双百”。”两跨”，一是跨越杭州湾天堑，“一桥飞架南北，天堑变通途”。气势恢宏，气吞山河，在世界跨海大桥中长度第一；二是跨越世纪，大桥的前期工作跨越20世纪与21世纪，大桥的使用寿命将跨越21世纪与22世纪。大桥也是“双百”工程，营运时间超越百年，投资总额逾越百亿。

　　Brief Introduclion to the Project

　　With a total length of 36km and bridge length 35.7km Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge is a two-way expressway with 3 lanes each and has one navigating arches in the north and south respectively.The bridge boasts designed speed of 100km per hour and service period over 100 years with total investment plus 10.7 billion yuan.Occupying 448 meters main span,north arch of the bridge is a steel stayed-cable bridge with double towers and chains, while the south arch is the one with single tower and chain.Standard navigating capacity of the north is 35,000 tons and that of the south is 3,000tons(scc picture).Connecting project of the bridge totaled 84.4km in length(29.1 km in the north and 55.3 in the south).Investment in the connecting project reaches 5.21 billion yuan(2.91 billion in lhe north and 3.43 in the south).Investment volume of the bridge and connecting proiect totals 16 billion Yuan and the whole project is scheduled to be completed in five years.

Construction of the Bridge cross 20th century and 21th century while its service will pass 21th century and 22th century.The service of the Bridge is over 100 years and investment plus 10 billion yuan.
