Procedure If A Foreign Resident Loses His Passport
1.Report the lost property at the local police station; write a report about
the situation in which the passport was lost, after proving your own identity
you should collect an official lost property certificate.
2.Bring the lost property certificate issued at the police station, the
personal report of the situation in which the passport was lost, two passport
photos (no hats), your Foreigner's Temporary Residence Document to the Hangzhou
City Public Security Bureau where you can apply for a "Foreigner's Lost Passport
Identification Document".
3.To apply for a new passport at the relevant embassies in China you will
need to show the "Foreigner'S Lost Passport Identification Document"and other
personal identification.
外国人护照遗失证明
1、到遗失地公安派出所报失，写出相关的遗失情况报告，经派出所核实后，出具证件遗失证明。
2、派出所出具的遗失证明及本人书面证件遗失情况报告和本人两寸正面免冠近照2张，境外人员临时住宿证明，到杭州公安局出入境管理处，申请“外国人护照遗失证明”。
3、按照“外国人护照遗失证明”及本人的其他相关证明，到驻华使领馆及时申请新的护照或相关的出国证件。
