Xi Jinping talks at a panel
discussion on Wed.,Feb.11,2004 | Senior leaders Xi
Jinping and Lu Zushan Wednesday joined deputies to the Second Session of
Tenth Zhejiang Committee of National People's Congress (NPC) in their respective
panel discussions.
Xi, director of the Zhejiang Standing Committee of China National People's
Congress, who joined in the panel discussion of Hangzhou delegation as a general
deputy, said after hearing the speech of the deputies at present that the
government work report delivered at the opening of the Second Session of Tenth
Zhejiang Committee of National People's Congress is a "good report" that has
"drawn on the wisdom of the masses on a practical manner".
"It will be an important paper governing the work of governments at all
levels in the province this year after heated discussion and revision by
deputies and members to the ongoing "Two Sessions", said Xi, who is also the
Party Secretary of Zhejiang Committee of Communist Party of China.
Xi stressed that the government work report had made clear the guidance idea,
requirements and goal for this year, adding that what really count now is to
completely bring into play "The Eight Advantages" and to
Lu Zushan at a panel discussion on
Wed. Feb.11,2004. | implement "The Eight
Strategic Measures" in this year's work so as to accelerate the modernization
process of the province.
Lu Zushan, who is also a deputy to the
Second Session of Tenth Zhejiang Committee of National People's
Congress, said during panel discussions with deputies from Huzhou,
Jinhua, Ningbo and Zhoushan that we must grasp the current opportunity to
guarantee Zhejiang Province---"an express train" to run on a stable and
continuous manner.
Lu who is also the governor of Zhejiang Province called for greater efforts
be made in the future in the process of realizing modernization.
