¡¡¡¡Well-Developed Transportation The first stage of construction has just been completed for Qili Harbour, a state-invested kdy harbour which, when completed, will dispatch goods to every major harbour of China with a designed annual cargo handling capacity of 3.59 million tons. Yueqing's access to Wenzhou Airport, which operates airlines to Hong Kong, Macao and major cities in China, is by a bridge across the river. Yueqing is also a little more than 30 kilometres away from Luqiao Airport of Taizhou, a municipality to the north. Yueqing is also crisscrossed by State Highway 104 and the newly built Jinhua-Wenzhou Railway. The Wenzhou Bridge and the Huwuling Tunnel, which are part of the Yueqing section of the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Expressway, have just been completed and opened to traffic, and the second stage of construction of the expressway is in high swing.

¡¡¡¡Conbenient Telecommunications Yuecheng Town and Yandang Mountain in Yueqing Municipality are where the large-capacity Shanghai-Zhejiang-Fujian-Guangdong optical trunk cable is notched. Yueqing operates its own program-controlled telephone network with a total capacity of 320,000 sets, which average 13.54 per hundred residents. There are also 150,000 cell phone users, and local residents can make direct phone calls to 188 countries and regions. ¡¡¡¡Sufficient Power Supply The first stage of construction of Yueqing's Panshi Power Plant with a total installed capacity of 1.45 million kw has just been finished, putting two 125,000-kw generating sets into full operation. The second stage of construction is under way. The entire municipality is covered with a rationally distributed and reliable power grid.
